Let’s observe natural changes

As a group, we observed the natural environment of Malatya during the autumn season. Dry leaves had fallen and covered the ground, especially around parks, streets, and schoolyards. Trees had lost most of their leaves, showing signs of seasonal transition.

We noticed a decrease in temperature and shorter daylight hours. The air felt cooler and windier compared to previous weeks. In some areas, we observed smoke from heating systems starting to appear, indicating the beginning of winter preparations.

Bird activity was reduced, and many insects were no longer visible. The river water level seemed lower than in summer, and the soil appeared drier.

Overall, our group identified visible signs of seasonal change in the natural environment, consistent with the autumn period in Eastern Anatolia.
